(Video) Sutera Matra - RERO Annual Championship
7 May 2025, Wednesday - Students from SK Sawah Bahru took an exciting step in their robotics journey, thanks to support from Sutera Matra. The students are preparing to compete in the upcoming RERO (Reconfigurable Robot) Annual Championship, which will take place in Segamat this July.
Sutera Matra’s sponsorship gave the students a valuable chance to explore robotics and coding in a fun, hands-on way. More than just building robots, they also learned teamwork, problem-solving, and communication—important skills for their future.
Although this was a short-term program, it gave students real exposure to robotics technology. They worked together to design, build, and program their robots, showing great creativity and determination.
The event was full of energy and support from the school and local community. It also gave students the chance to present their ideas confidently in English, helping improve their public speaking and presentation skills.
At the end of the program, five outstanding students were chosen to represent SK Sawah Bahru at the championship. Their selection was a result of their hard work, leadership, and passion.
Sutera Matra is proud to be part of this initiative to inspire young minds. By supporting programs like the RERO Annual Championship, they’re helping students grow not just in skills, but also in confidence and character.
